Assessment of the current status of the street:
Similar to the streets often seen in the area far from the center of Ho Chi Minh City, the street has a rather messy architecture and lacks aesthetic consistency. In that context, it requires a suitable architectural balance that is both harmonious and creates a gentle highlight.
The street has small sidewalks on both sides, so the view from the two rows of houses facing each other is quite close, the handling of the view or creating a sense of privacy is something to note.
Architectural image:
The architectural image brings a connection to the street as a gentle and harmonious highlight, the entire building is handled straight from the bottom up to keep the architectural lines stable. The vertical louver system is arranged unevenly in both distance and height of each louver to create a natural, unconstrained feeling. This louver system also creates a suitable buffer space for the balcony space and open interior behind as a respect for the surrounding buildings.
The main material is wood color, creating a friendly and close feeling for the building.
The building is treated uniformly in terms of materials and design language and is controlled at a minimalist level, making the image of the building feel more friendly and gentle.
The ground floor space is treated by us not to be much higher than the sidewalk to bring a friendly feeling when approaching the building while making it easy for vehicles to access and exit.
The mezzanine floor is treated by us as a floating block with a special suspension structure system.
The louver system is studied and arranged randomly with a balanced and proportionate ratio.
The entire facade is frameless glass walls to create maximum open space for the interior. The office space is connected to the balcony, the louver system and green trees create an open and harmonious space.
The elevator lobby area is pushed to the end of the house where it can be combined with the backyard, creating an interesting connection for the elevator lobby space - an important location for a multi-storey building.
The interior design is minimalist, sophisticated and open.
