Project Description:
The Taiwan Tower rises to 387 meters high thanks to combined structure of exoskeleton (permeable to wind), vertebral columns (rigid boxes in the inner space) and tendons linking the boxes to the outer skin.
The skin mounted on the exoskeleton is composed of three main elements: wicker work that makes the climatic conditions inside milder, thousands of small and medium wind turbines connected to LED lights that illumniate the buildings as they get some wind, solar panels that aquire solar energy.
The only spaces that are climatized are the exhibition and the working area so the very efficiency starts here.
